Duties:
Research on different Mechanical/ Structural design methodologies for achieving high quality results.
3DCAD modeling of products for preparation of computational models ( using ANSYS Space claim and Inventor)
Preparation , Planning and Solving of Finite element computational model in ANSYS Workbench
Design of composite structures and study of their manufacturability.
Supporting Aero design team in Developing aerodynamic simulation case files ( CFD).
Preparation of computational model for high fidelity Fluid- structure interaction models using Systems Coupling approach.
Ensure that the materials being implemented are suitable for different use cases. For instance, verifying the space rating for the parts being used for space missions.
Support product sourcing, purchasing and selection as required by the design process.

Accomplishments
Organized a Requirement writing and analysis workshop to impart knowledge to fellow teammates for smooth functioning of the projects and also in developing the problem solving skill of the team.
Introduced systems thinking approach in the project planning and initiated a system level approach to project execution.
Introduction of Issue analysis framework and Pugh matrix in the design process to quantity the decisions made.

Duties :
Preparing 3D scanned raw data of Automotive parts using Einscan HX scanner.
Preparing the design of automotive parts to be made into composite ( Carbon fiber and Fibreglass) parts for Japanese cars using 3d scanning tools.
Creating part files from the mesh data for rapid prototyping using cad software (Solid Works,
GEOMAGIC DESIGN X ) and slicing of the files for Prototyping( 3d Printing).
Post processing of the printed parts to obtain the final finished part. .
Assisting the manufacturing team with technical assistance and procurement of materials.
Assisting the manufacturing teams in day to day tasks when needed (preparing deliveries, mould preparation and parts cleaning).

My team was awarded the " Best innovative Future Design Award" in the competition
